I’ve been wondering this for a while…
If so many people are confused as to why the first Potter is referred to as the Sorcerer’s Stone rather than the Philosopher’s Stone, does this mean that there are versions of the first movie that refer to the stone as the philosopher’s stone? I mean, Emma does say sorcerer’s stone in the movie…unless there are other versions of the movie that I am not aware of. Are people just curious as why it’s called that, or are people legitimately unaware of the fact that it is often referred to as that and so when they hear it they go “WHAAAT?” I would have thought a legitimate Potter fan would know why it’s referred to as both.
